Jordahl Custom Homes (JCH) is seeking a qualified and skilled New Home Sales Consultant who can exceed not only in this position, but in our culture adhering to and really thriving with our core values! The New Home Sales Consultant will be a passionate team member who is professional and driven to represent the home buying process with enthusiasm and energy. No real estate license required!

Typical job functions; including but not limited to:

  • Guiding and advising buyers throughout the New Home Sales process
  • Create, manage and maintain relationships with realtors, lenders and community leaders
  • Ability to self-generate leads
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers as you build excitement for them, work through construction-related issues, and continually update them on the progress of their homes.
  • Meets with and escort prospective home buyers and real estate agents through the subdivision, model homes, and inventory homes under construction.
  • Communication with our buyers to ensure their satisfaction, knowledge, and understanding of process from sale through closing
  • Sell the features and benefits of buying a home.
  • Negotiating and closing deals. Completing accurate and timely contract paperwork
  • Analyzes financial qualifications of prospective home buyers.
  • Visits real estate offices to distribute information and to solicit the realtor community for future business.
  • Follows-up with home buyers, realtors and lenders to achieve sales.
  • Closes transactions and prepares contracts with home buyers.
  • Responsible mortgage status with regard to each home buyer.
  • Shall attend weekly meetings with Team along with all standard client meetings

Participate in “walk-throughs” of a client’s house to ensure construction is being performed per the contract and to escort homebuyers when they desire to view their home under construction.

Responsible for securing models at the end of the day.

Qualifications:

  • Enjoys sales and marketing activities. High energy, positive, can-do attitude
  • Two years + of sales/marketing experience. Real estate marketing or homebuilding industry experience is a plus.
  • Advanced internet, email, and sales contact database experience
  • Proficient at overcoming various sales objectives and concerns
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and database management
  • Solid organizational, planning, and managing skills
  • Must be able to work in an unstructured environment and quickly tackle ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision
  • Prioritize time well, juggle several projects at once and experience working under deadlines
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Weekend availability on request
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing environments
  • Must be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in a professional manner

Schedule:

Monday-Friday; 8AM – 5PM; nights and weekends as needed

Salary:

Base Salary + Commission
